Dome Lamp Replacement (With Sunroof)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the dome lamp lens from the dome lamp housing, using a small flat-bladed tool.




2. Remove the dome lamp bulb from the dome lamp, if required.




3. Remove the reading lamp bulb from the dome lamp, if required.




4. Remove the dome lamp from the housing retainer by pulling on the dome lamp housing to release the tab retainers.




5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the dome lamp.
6. Remove the dome lamp housing retainer from the headliner by twisting sideways and pulling out, if required.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: The dome lamp housing retainer will not fit tight.




1. Install the dome lamp housing retainer to the headliner by twisting sideways and pushing in.
2. Connect the electrical connector to the dome lamp.




3. Position your hand between the roof and the headliner to support the dome lamp housing retainer in to position.
4. Position the dome lamp tab retainers to the holes in the dome lamp housing retainer.
5. Install the dome lamp housing to the housing retainer, pressing into place from both sides until fully seated.




6. Install the reading lamp bulb from the dome lamp pressing into place, if required.




7. Install the dome lamp bulb to the dome lamp pressing into place, if required.




8. Install the dome lens to the dome lamp housing, pressing into place until fully seated.
