Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil - Assemble - Off Vehicle

- J 41352 Steering Column Holding Fixture





1. Center the block tooth on the race and upper shaft assembly (1) to the 12 o'clock position.





2. Install the wave washer (1).

Important: If installing the existing inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil, it must be centered first.

3. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Coil Centering - Off Vehicle (Column Shift And Floor Shift).
4. A new inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil will come precentered. Do not remove the tab until installation is complete. Align the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil with the horn tower on the turn signal cancel cam assembly.
5. Install the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil (2) onto the shaft assembly.
6. Secure the coil download wires to the tilt housing with the tie wrap and the black wire spacer.





7. Install the retaining ring (2).
8. Pull the orange tab on the new inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil and remove.
9. Remove the steering column from J 41352 to install into the vehicle.
