Door Adjustment - Rear

Removal Procedure


Up/Down or In/Out Adjustment
1. Open the rear door.




2. Loosen two 13 mm door side hinge bolts (1). Do not remove the bolts.
3. Open the rear door.
4. Adjust the door up or down by repositioning the door as needed.
5. Adjust the door in or out by repositioning the door as needed.



Installation Procedure


Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.





1. Tighten the two 13 mm rear door side hinge bolts (1).

Tighten the rear door side hinge bolts (1) to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).

2. Inspect the door for proper operation.



Removal Procedure


Fore/Aft Adjustment




1. Loosen the two 13 mm body side hinge bolts (1). Do not remove them.
2. Loosen one 10 mm cone adjuster body side hinge bolt (2).
3. Adjust the door fore and aft by repositioning the door as needed.



Installation Procedure


Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.





1. Install the one 10 mm cone adjuster body side hinge bolt (2).

Tighten the cone adjuster body side hinge bolt (2) to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

2. Install the 2 13 mm body side hinge bolts (1).

Tighten the body side hinge bolts to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).
