Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the instrument panel cluster (IPC) trim plate. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - IP Cluster in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
2. Grasp the headlamp switch and pull firmly to release the retaining tabs from the instrument panel.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlamp switch.
4. Remove the headlamp switch.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the electrical connector to the headlamp switch.
2. Align the headlamp switch to the instrument panel, then press into place to secure the retainers.
3. Install the IPC trim plate. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - IP Cluster in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
