Weatherstrip Replacement - Front Door Window

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door Service and Repair
3. Remove the outside mirror. Refer to Mirror Replacement - Power (Mirror Replacement - Power Mirror) .
4. Remove the front door window inner belt sealing strip. Refer toSealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Inner (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement) .
5. Remove the front door window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Outer (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement) .
6. Remove the front door window. Refer to Window Replacement - Front Door (Service and Repair) .
7. Remove the bolts from the front door window weatherstrip.




8. Remove the front door window weatherstrip from the front door (3).



Installation Procedure





1. Position the front door window weatherstrip to the front door (3) starting in the corner.
2. Firmly seat the front door window weatherstrip to the door, working out in both directions.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the bolts to the front door window weatherstrip.

Tighten the front door window weatherstrip bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

4. Install the front door window. Refer to Window Replacement - Front Door (Service and Repair) .
5. Install the front door window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Outer (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement) .
6. Install the front door window inner sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Inner (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement) .
7. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door Service and Repair
8. Install the outside mirror. Refer to Mirror Replacement - Power (Mirror Replacement - Power Mirror) .
9. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Service and Repair) .
