Impact Bar Replacement - Front Bumper

Removal Procedure




1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the front fascia.
3. Remove the front bumper fascia support right side (1), center (2), and left side (3).




4. Remove the nuts (2) from the windshield washer reservoir (1). The windshield washer reservoir does not require removal from the vehicle.
5. Remove the nuts (4) from the front bumper impact bar (3).
6. Remove the front bumper impact bar (3).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the front bumper impact bar (3).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the nuts (4) to the front bumper impact bar (3).

Tighten the front bumper impact bar nuts to 150 N.m (111 lb ft).

3. Install the nuts (2) to the windshield washer reservoir (1).

Tighten the windshield washer fluid reservoir nuts to 3 N.m (27 lb in).




4. Install the front bumper fascia support right side (1), center (2), and left side (3).
5. Install the front fascia.
6. Lower the vehicle.
