Heater Hose Replacement - Outlet

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (2.2L (L61)) in Cooling System.
2. Remove the air inlet duct.
3. Reposition the ignition control module. Refer to Ignition Control Module Replacement in Computers and Controls Systems - 2.2L (LN2).
4. Disconnect the outlet heater hose from the outlet heater pipe.
5. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.




6. Disconnect the outlet heater hose from the heater core.
7. Remove the outlet heater hose from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the outlet heater hose to the vehicle.
2. Connect the outlet heater hose to the outlet heater pipe. Ensure that the hose clamps are secured.




3. Connect the outlet heater hose to the heater core. Ensure the hose clamps are secured.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Reposition and install the ignition control module.
6. Install the air inlet duct.
7. Fill the engine coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (2.2L (L61)) in Cooling System.
