Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil - Disassemble - Off VehicleTools Required
^ J41352 Modular Column Holding Fixture
Caution: Refer to SIR Caution in Service Precautions.
1. Disable the inflatable restraint steering wheel module.
2. Remove the steering wheel.
3. Remove the tilt lever.
4. Remove the trim covers.
5. Remove the steering column.
6. Inspect the steering column for accident damage.
7. Install the steering column and J41352 into a vise.
8. Remove all wire harness straps from the wire harness assembly.
9. Remove the retaining ring.
10. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil download from the wire restraint clip (3).
11. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil (1).
12. Remove the wave washer (2).
