Trim Plate Replacement - IP Accessory (Pontiac)

Removal Procedure




1. Open the instrument panel (IP) compartment in order to access the screws (2).
2. Remove the screws (2) from the IP accessory trim plate (3).
3. Remove the IP accessory trim plate (3) pulling rearward in order to disengage the retainers.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the tabs to the IP accessory trim plate (3) to the slots on the IP (1).
2. Install the IP accessory trim plate (3) pressing into place until fully seated.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the IP accessory trim plate screws (2).

Tighten the screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

4. Close the IP compartment door.
