Instrument Panel (IP) - Air Deflector/Louver Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: Instrument Panel (IP) Trim Pad should be at room temperature before removal of the air outlet deflector. This will allow the IP trim pad to be more pliable during removal of the air deflector outlet.




1. Wrap the ends of the needle nose pliers with tape to avoid maring the surface of the air outlet deflector, if being reused.




2. Remove the air outlet deflector from the IP by pulling from right and left side of the air outlet deflector.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the air outlet deflector to the IP.




2. Install the air outlet deflector to the IP pressing into place until fully seated.
3. Inspect the air outlet deflector for proper movement.
