Stop Lamp Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the electrical connection (5,6).
2. Disconnect the brake switch (7) by grasping the switch and turning it 90 degrees counterclockwise while pulling toward the rear of the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1. Insert the stop lamp switch (7) into the retainer until the switch body is seated on the retainer.
2. Connect the electrical connector (5,6).
3. Adjust the stop lamp switch.
