Instrument Panel Compartment - Door Replacement

DOOR REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) COMPARTMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Open the instrument panel (IP) compartment door.




2. Remove the IP compartment.
3. Remove the screws that retain the IP compartment door to the IP compartment.




4. Remove the latch assembly.




5. Remove the IP compartment door from the IP compartment.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the latch assembly.




2. Align the IP compartment door with the IP compartment.
3. Install the IP compartment door screws.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1 N.m (9 lb in).

4. Close the IP door.
