Heads Up Display (HUD) Indicators:

HEADS UP DISPLAY (HUD) INDICATORS

CHANGE ENGINE OIL
The DIC illuminates the CHANGE OIL SOON indicator when the powertrain control module (PCM) determines that the engine oil should be changed. The DIC receives a discrete input from the PCM requesting illumination. When this indicator is on, the BCM activates the audible warning. After the oil is changed, reset the engine oil monitor.

CHECK GAGE
The head up display (HUD) illuminates the CHECK GAGE indicator when the IPC sends a class 2 message requesting illumination. The HUD illuminates the CHECK GAGE indicator when the IPC illuminates any of the following indicators:
- Charging System
- Engine Coolant Temperature
- Low Engine Oil Pressure

LOW FUEL
The head up display (HUD) illuminates the low fuel indicator when the IPC indicates that the fuel level is low. The IPC sends a class 2 message to the HUD.The IPC sends the message when it determines that the fuel level is less than 13% (68.).

LOW FUEL
The IPC illuminates the low fuel indicator when the IPC determines that the fuel level is less than a 13% (68.). The IPC receives a discrete input from the PCM indicating fuel level percent.

LOW OIL LEVEL
The IPC illuminates the LOW OIL LEVEL indicator in the message center when the powertrain control module (PCM) detects low engine oil level, and the signal circuit is low. The IPC receives a class 2 message requesting illumination from the PCM.

LOW ENGINE OIL PRESSURE
The head-up display (HUD) illuminates the low engine oil pressure indicator when the IPC indicates that the engine oil pressure is low.

LOW ENGINE OIL PRESSURE
The IPC illuminates the low engine oil pressure indicator when the powertrain control module (PCM) detects low engine oil pressure, and the signal circuit is high. The IPC receives a class 2 message requesting illumination from the PCM.
