Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right

Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad Clip Remover


Removal Procedure





1. Use J 38778 in order to remove the push-in retainers from the right instrument panel (I/P) insulator.




2. Lower the insulator from the I/P. Rotate the courtesy lamp counter clockwise. Remove the courtesy lamp from the insulator. Refer to Courtesy Lamp Replacement - Instrument Panel.
3. Remove the right I/P insulator.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the courtesy lamp into the right I/P insulator. Rotate the courtesy lamp clockwise to secure correctly.





Important: Do not block the floor heater outlet with the right I/P insulator.


2. Install the right I/P insulator.
3. Install the push-in retainers to the right I/P insulator.
