Instrument Panel Electrical Center or Junction Block Replace
INSTRUMENT PANEL ELECTRICAL CENTER OR JUNCTION BLOCK REPLACEMENTTOOLS REQUIRED
J 38125-C Terminal Repair Kit
REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the right instrument panel (I/P) insulator.
3. Remove the I/P compartment door.
4. Remove the I/P compartment.
5. Disengage the fuse block retainers from the I/P trim pad.
6. Disconnect the wiring harness retainer (1) from the I/P trim pad (2).
7. Remove the fuse block.
8. Remove the fuses and the circuit breakers from the fuse block.
9. Using the correct tool from J 38125-C , remove the wires from the fuse block. Refer to Electrical Center Identification Views.
10. Remove the fuse block.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the wires to the fuse block.
2. Install the fuses and the circuit breakers to the fuse block.
3. Position the fuse block to the I/P.
4. Connect the wiring harness retainer (1) to the I/P trim pad (2).
5. Engage the fuse block retainers to the I/P trim pad.
6. Install the I/P compartment.
7. Install the I/P compartment door.
8. Install the right I/P insulator.
9. Connect the negative battery cable.
