Front Door Handle: Adjustments

DOOR HANDLE ROD ADJUSTMENT - FRONT OUTSIDE

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Raise the window to the full UP position.
2. Remove the door trim panel.
3. Remove the door water deflector in order to access the door handle rod.
4. Remove the lower window channel retainer.
5. Use a small flat-bladed screwdriver in order to remove the outside handle rod (2) from the door lock assembly.
6. Remove the outside handle rod (2) from the outside handle (1).
7. Remove the outside handle rod (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the outside handle rod (2) to the outside handle (1).
2. Position the outside handle in the closed position.
3. Clip the outside handle rod (2) to the door lock assembly.
4. Install the lower window channel retainer.
5. Install the door water deflector.
6. Install the door trim panel.
