Seat Back Replacement - Rear Split Folding
SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT - REAR SPLIT FOLDINGREMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the head rest, if necessary.
2. Fold the rear seat back cushion to the down position.
3. Remove the 2 plastic hinge covers (1) from the back seat back cushion cover.
4. Remove the rear seat back trim panel.
5. Remove the center rear seat belt retractor, if necessary.
6. Remove the hinge bolts (2) from the rear seat back cushion (3).
7. Remove the following components from the vehicle:
- The 2 seat back pivot support bolts
- The rear seat back cushion (3)
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the rear seat back cushion (3) to the vehicle. Secure the rear seat back cushion with the 2 bolts (2).
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Tighten
Tighten the seat back cushion bolts to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).
2. Install the outer pivot support bolts to the rear seat back cushion (3).
Tighten
Tighten the outer pivot support bolts to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).
3. Install the center rear seat belt retractor, if removed.
4. Install the rear seat back trim panel.
5. Install the 2 plastic hinge covers (1) to the back of the seat back cushion cover.
6. Return the seat back to the upright position.
7. Install head rest, if removed.
