Lock Striker Replacement - Lift Gate

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the lift gate sill trim plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Lift Gate (Service and Repair) in Interior Trim.
2. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

* The 2 bolts (2)
* The rear lift gate striker (1)




Installation Procedure





1. Install the lift gate striker (2) to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Secure the striker with the 2 bolts (2).

Tighten the rear compartment lid lock striker bolts to 11.5 N.m (9 lb ft).

3. Install the lift gate sill trim plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Lift Gate (Service and Repair) in Interior Trim.
