REAR COMPARTMENT LID SWITCH REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Open the instrument panel (IP) storage compartment door.
2. Remove the IP storage compartment.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector (2).
4. Remove the switch (1) by depressing the locking tabs in order to push the switch out of the IP compartment.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the instrument panel (IP) storage compartment with the electrical connector (2) exposed through the switch opening.




2. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the switch (1).
3. Install the rear compartment release switch (1) by pressing into the IP storage compartment opening until firmly seated.
4. Close the IP storage compartment door.
