Proper Procedure for Removal of Compact Discs (CDs) That Will Not Eject from Compact Disc (CD) Player

Important:
Dealers who fail to follow this procedure and try to disassemble the unit will be charged for the cost of the unit. Opening the unit voids the warranty.
This bulletin is being issued to remind technicians of the proper procedure when dealing with a Blaupunkt compact disc (CD) unit that will not eject a disc. DO NOT open the audio unit in order to retrieve the disc or try to use force the remove the disc. The unit should be returned to the manufacturer. Clearly indicate "CDs Enclosed" on the unit and request that the CD be removed and returned to the dealership.
