Fender Replacement - Front
Removal Procedure
1. Apply tape to panel and adjacent surfaces.
2. Remove the front bumper fascia.
3. Remove the rocker panel molding.
4. Remove the front fender liner.
5. Remove the assist rod assembly to fender screws.







6. Remove the fender emblem.
7. Tilt the hood side bumper (1) forward slightly and carefully slide it rearward to disengage it from the inner edge of the fender (2).
8. Remove the nut (3) from the rear of the fender.
9. From behind the fender, remove the bolt (1) attaching the rear of the fender.
10. Remove the bolt (2) attaching the rear of the fender to the vehicle.







11. Remove the 7 bolts (1) attaching the fender (3) to the vehicle.
12. Remove the rocker panel molding bracket (2) from the lower rear edge of the fender (3), if necessary.
13. Remove the fender (3) from the vehicle.








Installation Procedure
1. Install the tender (3) to the vehicle. d
2. Install the rocker panel molding bracket to the rear lower tender (3), it removed.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the 7 fender bolts (1).


Tighten the bolts to.....6 N.m (53 lb in).






4. Install the bolt (2) attaching the rear of the tender to the vehicle.

Tighten the bolts to.....6 N.m (53 lb in).

5. From behind the fender, install the bolt (1) and nut (3) attaching the lower fender.


Tighten the nut to.....6 N.m (53 lb in).







6. Install the hood side bumper (1) to the inner edge of the fender (2).
7. Install the fender emblem.
8. Install the assist rod assembly to fender screws.
9. Install the front fender liner.
10. Install the rocker molding.
11. Install the front bumper fascia.
12. Remove the protective tape.
