Armrest Replacement







Removal Procedure
1. Remove the door energy absorber pad. Refer to Energy Absorber Pad Replacement on page 8-21&
2. Remove the 5 clips (3), by sliding them away from the trim panel (1).
3. Remove the 7 nuts (2), attaching the armrest (4) to the trim panel (2).
4. Slide the armrest (4) to the rear of the trim panel (1) and remove.







Installation Procedure

Important: The armrest (4) must be sitting flush against the trim panel (1) along the entire top contacting surface.

1. Install the armrest (4) to the trim panel (1), and slide forward.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the 7 nuts (2) attaching the armrest (4) to the trim panel (1).


Tighten the nuts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

3. Install the 5 retaining clips (3), to the armrest (4).
4. Install the energy absorber pad.
