Rear Compartment Lid Ajar Switch Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Remove the screw (2) and pull the lid ajar switch assembly (1) out far enough from the rear compartment lid (3) to gain access to the wiring harness connectors (4).
3. Disconnect the wiring harness connectors (4).
4. Remove the lid ajar switch (1).







Installation Procedure
1. Connect the wiring harness connectors (4) to the lid ajar switch (1).
Position the rear compartment lid ajar switch (1) to the rear compartment lid (3).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
Fastener Notice

2. Install the screw (2) to the lid ajar switch (1). Tighten

Tighten the screw to.....2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Close the rear compartment lid.
