HEATER PIPES REPLACEMENT

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the heater core from the HVAC module.
2. Remove the heater pipe retaining screws (1).
3. Remove the heater pipe retaining clamps (6).
4. Remove the heater pipes (3) from the heater core (4).
5. Remove and discard the 0-rings (2).

Installation Procedure





1. Install new O-rings (2) on the heater pipes (3).
2. Install the heater pipes to the heater core (4).

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Secure the heater pipes with the retaining clamps (6) and screws (1).

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 4 N.m (35 Ib in).

4. Install the heater core to the HVAC module.
