Interior Noise From HVAC Blower Fan (Remove Remaining Foam Rubber Seal from Leaf Screen)

Condition
Some customers may comment on interior noise from the HVAC blower fan.
Cause
This noise may be caused by loose foam rubber particles that come in contact with the blower fan. The foam rubber may have come from the seal which is attached to the leaf screen, located at the A/C evaporator air intake (item 3 shown in the illustration).
Correction
If investigation of blower fan noise indicates the cause to be particles of loose foam rubber in the blower fan, remove all remaining foam rubber seal from the leaf screen and refit the screen without the seal.
