Glove Box Lamp Switch: Service and Repair

INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) COMPARTMENT LAMP SWITCH REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) compartment from the I/P.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the I/P compartment lamp switch.
3. Depress the retainers on the switch.
4. Remove the switch from the I/P compartment.
5. If required, remove the bulb.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. If required, install the bulb.
2. Connect the electrical connector to the I/P compartment lamp switch.
3. Install the switch to the I/P compartment.
4. Press in the switch until the retainers are fully seated.
5. Install the I/P compartment.
