ANTENNA REPLACEMENT - DIGITAL RADIO

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Lower the rear of the headliner. Refer to Headliner Replacement in Interior Trim.
2. Adjust the antenna cable mastic patches for access.
3. Disconnect the antenna cables from the antenna base cable connectors.
4. Remove the antenna base bolt.




5. Disengage the retainers at the inside of the roof.
6. Remove the antenna base assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Route the antenna base cables through the root opening.




2. Install the antenna base to the roof.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Secure the antenna base with the bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the antenna base bolt to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

4. Connect the antenna cables to the antenna base cable connectors.
5. Install the antenna cable mastic patches.
6. Install the headliner.
