Instrument Panel Compartment - Latch Replacement

LATCH REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) COMPARTMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Open the instrument panel (I/P) compartment.
2. Remove the I/P compartment door latch screws.




3. Remove the I/P compartment door latch.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Align the I/P compartment door latch to the I/P compartment door.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




2. Install the I/P compartment door latch screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb.in).

3. Close the I/P compartment.
