Receiver Replacement - Digital Radio
RECEIVER REPLACEMENT - DIGITAL RADIOREMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the Rear Quarter Upper-Trim Panel.
2. Remove the three nuts (1) (2) securing the receiver.
3. Disconnect the two electrical connectors (1) (2).
4. Remove the XM receiver.
5. Remove the two nuts (1) (2) securing the bracket to the receiver, remove the bracket if necessary.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
1. Install the two nuts (1) (2) securing the bracket to the receiver, install the bracket if necessary.
Tighten
Tighten the two nuts to 10 N.m(89 lb in).
2. Connect the two electrical connectors (1) (2).
3. Install the XM receiver.
4. Install the three nuts (1) (2) (3) securing the receiver.
Tighten
Tighten the three nuts to 6 N.m(53 lb in).
5. Install the Rear Quarter Upper-Trim Panel
