Trim Plate Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Accessory Left

Removal Procedure





1. Using a taped flat bladed tool, gently pry and release the retaining clips which secure the IP accessory left trim plate (1) to the instrument panel assembly.
2. Disconnect the following components:

* The power mirror switch electrical connector
* The dimmer switch electrical connector

3. Remove the power mirror switch, if necessary. Refer toPower Mirror Switch Replacement (Power Mirror Switch Replacement) .
4. Remove the dimmer switch, if necessary. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Dimmer Switch Replacement .



Installation Procedure





1. Install the dimmer switch, if removed. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Dimmer Switch Replacement .
2. Install the power mirror switch, if removed. Refer to Power Mirror Switch Replacement (Power Mirror Switch Replacement) .
3. Connect the following components:

* The dimmer switch electrical connector
* The power mirror switch electrical connector

4. Install the IP accessory center trim plate (1) to the IP assembly. Ensure that the retaining clips are fully engaged.
