Automatic Transmission Mount Replacement - RearRemoval Procedure
1. Install the engine support fixture to support the engine.
2. Remove the rear mount through bolt.
3. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
4. Remove the 3 nuts and 1 bolt securing the rear mount to the transmission support.
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Remove the rear transaxle mount from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the rear transaxle mount into the rear transaxle mounting bracket.
2. Secure the rear transaxle mount with the through bolt. Do NOT fully tighten the through bolt.
3. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Install the 3 nuts and 1 bolt to secure the rear transaxle mount to the transmission support.
Tighten the nuts and bolt to 52 Nm (38 ft. lbs.).
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Tighten the through bolt.
Tighten the through bolt to 87 Nm (64 ft. lbs.).
7. Remove the engine support fixture from the engine.
