Seat Back Replacement - Front (Driver Side)

SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT - FRONT (DRIVER SIDE)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the front seat assembly.
2. Remove the front seat head restraint.
3. Remove the seat adjuster track covers (7).
4. Remove the bolts (3) from the seat back assembly (1).
5. Remove seat back assembly (1) from the seat adjuster (10).
6. Remove the driver seat inflatable restraint, if necessary.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the driver seat inflatable restraint, if removed.
2. Install the seat back assembly (1) to the seat adjuster (10).
3. Install the bolts (3) to the seat back assembly (1).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts (3) to 43 N.m (32 lb ft).

4. Install the seat adjuster track covers (7).
5. Install the front seat head restraint.
6. Install the front seat assembly.
