Seat Back Replacement - Front (Passenger Side)

SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT - FRONT (PASSENGER SIDE)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the front seat assembly.
2. Remove the front seat head restraint.
3. Remove the seat adjuster track covers (14).
4. Remove the bolts (15) from the seat back assembly (1).
5. Remove seat back assembly (1) from the seat adjuster (16).
6. Remove the seat back recliners (5).
7. Remove the seat back trim panel (2), if necessary.
8. Remove the passenger seat inflatable restraint, if necessary.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the passenger seat inflatable restraint, if removed
2. Install the seat back trim panel (2), if removed.
3. Install the seat back recliners (5) to the seat back assembly (1).
4. Install the seat back assembly (1) to the seat adjuster (16).
5. Install the bolts (15) to the seat back assembly (1).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts (15) to 43 N.m (32 lb ft).

6. Install the seat adjuster track covers (14).
7. Install the front seat head restraint.
8. Install the front seat assembly.
