Instrument Panel (I/P) Harness Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the upper instrument panel assembly. Refer to Trim Pad Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Upper (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the lower instrument panel assmebly. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Trim Panel Replacement - Lower (Instrument Panel (IP) - Trim Panel Replacement - Lower) .
3. Remove the following components from the instrument panel (2):

* The right I/P outer air outlet
* The plastic retainers
* The left I/P outer air outlet
* The screws
* The wire harness retainers
* The instrument panel wiring harness (5)




Installation Procedure





1. Install the instrument panel wiring harness (5) to the instrument panel (2). Secure the harness with the following:

* The wire harness retainers
* The screws

2. Install the left I/P outer air outlet to the instrument panel assembly. Secure the duct with the plastic retainer.
3. Install the right I/P outer air outlet to the instrument panel assembly. Secure the duct with the screw.
4. Install the lower instrument panel assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Trim Panel Replacement - Lower (Instrument Panel (IP) - Trim Panel Replacement - Lower) .
5. Install the upper instrument panel assembly. Refer to Trim Pad Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Upper (Service and Repair) .
