Auxiliary Intake Air Control Solenoid Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Disconnect the electrical connector to the auxillary intake air control solenoid (3).
2. Disconnect the 2 vacuum lines (2) to the auxillary intake air control solenoid (3).
3. Remove the two fasteners (4) and the auxillary intake air control solenoid (3) from the air cleaner housing.

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the auxillary intake air control solenoid (3) to the air cleaner housing with the two fasteners (4).

Tighten the fasteners to 3.7 Nm (33 lb in).

2. Connect the 2 vacuum hoses (2) to the auxillary intake air control solenoid (3).
3. Connect the electrical connector.
