Impact Bar Replacement - Front Bumper

Removal Procedure




1. Open the hood.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
3. Remove the front bumper fascia.
4. Remove the fasteners retaining the front bumper impact bar to the front bumper impact bar bracket.
5. Remove the front bumper impact bar.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the front bumper impact bar.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the fasteners to retain the front bumper impact bar to the bracket.

Tighten the fasteners to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

3. Install the front bumper fascia.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Close the hood.
