Door Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Compartment

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) storage compartment.
2. Remove the fasteners securing the door to the IP.
3. Remove the fasteners securing the insulator panel to the door.
4. Remove the door handle.
5. Remove the latch.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the latch (3) to the door.
2. Install the door handle (1).




3. Install the door insulator panel to the door.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the door insulator panel fasteners.

Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).




5. Install the fasteners securing the door to the instrument panel (IP) and adjust.

Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

6. Install the IP storage compartment.
