Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement - Front

SEAT CUSHION COVER AND PAD REPLACEMENT - FRONT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the front seat.
2. Remove the recliner handle.
3. Remove the inner and outer trim covers.




4. Remove the J-strips from the seat frame.
5. Remove the J-strip on the recliner rod.
6. If the vehicle is equipped with a heated seat, disconnect the heated seat wiring connector.
7. Remove the seat cushion cover and pad from the seat frame.
8. Remove the hog rings from the under side of the seat cushion.




9. Pull the cushion cover (1) off of the pad (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Push the cushion cover (1) over the cushion pad (2).
2. Install the hog rings on the under side of the seat cushion.

IMPORTANT: Verify that the listing wire is aligned with the trim cover.

3. Install the seat cushion cover and pad onto the seat frame.
4. If the vehicle is equipped with a heated seat, connect the heated seat wiring connector.




5. Install the J-strips to the seat frame. Start at the front end and work toward the rear.
6. Install the J-strip to the recliner rod.
7. Install the recliner handle.
8. Install the inner and outer trim covers.
9. Install the front seat.
