Center Mounted Brake Lamp: Service and Repair

HIGH MOUNTED STOP LAMP REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Open the rear compartment.
2. From the underside of the rear compartment, remove the bolts (1) from the center high-mounted stop lamp rear cover.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Remove the center high-mounted stop lamp from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the center high-mounted stop lamp to the vehicle.
2. Install the bolts (1) to the center high-mounted stop lamp rear cover.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the center high-mounted stop lamp bolts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector.
4. Close the rear compartment.
