Information on False DTC B0595 Set in History

Models:
2004-2005 Chevrolet Malibu, Malibu Maxx
2005 Pontiac G6





When using the Tech 2(R) diagnostic scan tool for air bag diagnostics, DTC codes B0595.01 and/or B0595.06 may be found in history. These codes will not illuminate the SIR I/P indicator. On vehicles that are NOT equipped with passenger seat occupant sensors, no repairs are necessary. These codes will not be able to be cleared and do not affect proper air bag operation in any way. Only diagnose air bag concerns based on other codes.
