Correction

Reprogram the radio/CD changer.

Important:
The reprogramming required to correct the described condition can only be performed via the "Pass-Thru" method. As a result, your Tech 2 must be updated with software version 24.010 or later and your Techline equipment must be updated to TIS 12.50 or later. Check your equipment and, if needed, updated it before proceeding.

Important:
The vehicle's battery must be fully charged BEFORE you begin reprogramming the radio/CD changer.

1. Verify that the vehicle's battery is fully charged.

2. On your Techline terminal, select "SPS Reprogramming".

3. Select "Pass-Thru".

4. Select "Reprogram ECU".

5. Enter the vehicle information.

6. Select "Vehicle".

Important:
In order to perform the reprogramming, the diagnostic interface module (CANdi) must be connected between the Tech 2 and the vehicle in the next step. Failure to use the CANdi module will result in failure on the Tech 2 to communicate with the vehicle.

7. Follow the on-screen instructions for connecting the Tech 2 (with CANdi module) and Techline equipment to the vehicle.

8. Turn the ignition key to the ON position.

9. Turn OFF all accessories and close all doors.

10. Continue following the on-screen instructions.

11. Confirm that the VIN displayed on the Techline equipment is the same as the VIN on the vehicle.

12. Select "Radio" (Pass-Thru Only).

13. Select Audio System (either UC6 domestic or UC6 export).

14. Continue following all of the on-screen instructions.

15. After reprogramming has been complete, disconnect the Tech 2 and Techline terminal from the vehicle.

16. Verify the radio operation and set the clock.
