Radio Housing Bracket Replacement (Upper)

RADIO HOUSING BRACKET REPLACEMENT (UPPER)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the radio housing.
2. Remove the lower compartment ashtray.
3. Remove the lower instrument panel extension panels.
4. Remove the HVAC controls.




5. Remove the eleven screws attaching the radio bracket assembly to the instrument panel.
6. Remove the radio bracket assembly from its locating tabs.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the radio bracket assembly to the instrument panel and install the bracket to the locating tabs.
2. Install the eleven screws attaching the radio bracket assembly to the instrument panel.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.


Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Install the HVAC controls.
4. Install the lower instrument panel extension panels.
5. Install the lower compartment ashtray.
6. Install the radio housing.
