RADIO REPLACEMENT

TOOLS REQUIRED
BO-46862 Radio Removal Tool

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Ensure that the radio is turned OFF.




2. Using tool BO-46862 (1), insert the tools into the access holes and push the service tool in to engage the barbs of the retaining spring clips.
3. Apply outward pressure on the tools to release the spring clips, then pull the radio out of the cradle.
4. Remove the tools.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Slide the radio into the cradle, then using finger pressure over the removal tool holes, push the radio in until the spring clips engage.

IMPORTANT: Do not apply pressure to the radio buttons or the display.

2. If a new radio head has been installed:
1. Enter a new security code. Refer to Radio Setup.
2. Check the radio for correct operation.
