Seat Replacement - Front Bucket

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Position the seat to the most forward position.




3. Unclip the front seat inner rear cover (1) from the seat track (2).




4. Remove the seat to floor mounting bolts (1).
5. Position the seat to the most rearward position.




6. Unclip the front seat inner front cover (1) from the seat track (2).




7. Remove seat-to-floor mounting bolts (1).
Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
8. Disconnect the negative battery cable.




9. Disconnect the body wiring harness connectors (1 and 2).
10. Remove the seat from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure

1. Position the seat in the vehicle.




2. Connect the body wiring harness connectors (1 and 2).
Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
3. Connect the negative battery cable.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the seat-to-floor mounting bolts.

Tighten the seat-to-floor mounting bolts to 42.5 N.m (31 lb ft).





5. Clip the front seat inner front cover (1) to the seat track (2).
6. Position the seat to the most forward position.




7. Install the seat to floor mounting bolts (1).

Tighten the seat-to-floor mounting bolts to 42.5 N.m (31 lb ft).





8. Clip the front seat inner rear cover (1) to the seat track (2).
9. Install the door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Service and Repair) .
