Crankcase Ventilation Hoses/Pipes Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the right and left engine sight cover.

Important: In the following service procedure, it maybe necessary to remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) valve assembly to gain access to the positive crankcase ventilation hose.

2. Remove the evaporative emission canister purge valve (7).
3. Remove the retaining clips (1) for the EVAP pipes (2) and (3).
4. Remove the EVAP pipes (2) and (3).
5. Remove the EVAP pipe (4) from intake air temperature (IAT) sensor at the air intake duct (8) the valve cover.
6. Remove the hose (5) from the throttle body to the engine valley cover.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the hose (5) from the throttle body to the engine valley cover.
2. Install the EVAP pipe (4) from IAT sensor at the air intake duct (8) the valve cover.
3. Install the EVAP valve, if removed.
4. Install the EVAP pipes (2) and (3).
5. Install the retaining clips (1) for the EVAP pipes (2) and (3).
6. Install the right and left engine sight cover.
