Antenna Replacement - Digital Radio (With RPO Code U2K)

ANTENNA REPLACEMENT - DIGITAL RADIO (WITH RPO CODE U2K)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Lower the front of the headliner. Refer to Headliner Replacement in Interior Trim.
2. Disconnect the antenna cables from the antenna base cable connectors.
3. Remove the antenna base bolt (2).




4. Disengage the retainers at the inside of the roof.
5. Remove the antenna base assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Route the base antenna cables through the roof opening.




2. Locate the antenna base to the roof with the alignment pin (2).
3. Secure the antenna base to the roof with the bolt.

Tighten the antenna base bolt to 6 Nm (53 lb in).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Connect the antenna cables to the antenna base cable connectors.
5. Install the headliner.
