Door Replacement - Rear

Removal Procedure


Notice: Refer toPaint Damage Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Apply masking tape to the fender and door edges.
2. Open the door.
3. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door .
4. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer toWater Deflector Replacement - Rear Door .
5. Remove the rear door inner energy absorber pad. Refer toEnergy Absorber Pad Replacement - Inner Rear .
6. Remove the rear door inner window sealing strip. Refer toSealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Inner .
7. Remove the rear door outer window sealing strip. Refer toSealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Outer .
8. Remove the rear door window weatherstrip. Refer toWeatherstrip Replacement - Rear Door Window .
9. Remove the rear door frame applique. Refer toDoor Frame Applique/Runchannel Replacement - Rear .
10. Remove the rear door stationary window with the weatherstrip. Refer toWindow Replacement - Rear Door Stationary .
11. Remove the rear door window channel retainer. Refer toWindow Channel Retainer Replacement - Rear Door .
12. Remove the rear door window. Refer toWindow Replacement - Rear Door .
13. Remove the rear door window regulator. Refer toWindow Regulator Replacement - Rear Door .
14. Remove the lock rod guide block. Refer toHandle Lock Rod Guide Block Replacement .
15. Remove the rear door inside door handle. Refer toDoor Handle Replacement - Rear Inside .
16. Remove the rear door outside door handle. Refer toDoor Handle Replacement - Rear Outside .
17. Remove the rear door lock. Refer toLock Replacement - Rear Door .
18. Remove the rear door body side molding. Refer toMolding Replacement - Body Side in Exterior Trim.
19. Remove the electrical harness from the door.
20. Remove the rear door rubber conduit. Refer toRubber Conduit Replacement - Rear Door .
21. Support the rear door.




22. Remove the door side hinge bolts in the specified sequence (1, 2, 3, 4). Refer toDoor Adjustment - Rear
23. Remove the door with the aid of an assistant.



Installation Procedure

1. Position the door with the aid of an assistant to the vehicle.




2. Install the door side hinge bolts in the specified sequence (1, 2, 3, 4). Refer toDoor Adjustment - Rear .
3. Remove the rear door support.
4. Install the rear door rubber conduit. Refer toRubber Conduit Replacement - Rear Door .
5. Install the electrical harness to the door.
6. Install the rear door body side molding. Refer toMolding Replacement - Body Side in Exterior Trim.
7. Install the rear door lock. Refer toLock Replacement - Rear Door .
8. Install the rear door outside door handle. Refer toDoor Handle Replacement - Rear Outside .
9. Install the lock rod guide block. Refer toHandle Lock Rod Guide Block Replacement .
10. Install the rear door inside door handle. Refer toDoor Handle Replacement - Rear Inside .
11. Install the rear door window regulator. Refer toWindow Regulator Replacement - Rear Door .
12. Install the rear door window. Refer toWindow Replacement - Rear Door .
13. Install the rear door window channel retainer. Refer toWindow Channel Retainer Replacement - Rear Door .
14. Install the rear door stationary window with the weatherstrip. Refer toWindow Replacement - Rear Door Stationary .
15. Install the rear door frame applique. Refer toDoor Frame Applique/Runchannel Replacement - Rear .
16. Install the rear door window weatherstrip. Refer toWeatherstrip Replacement - Rear Door Window .
17. Install the rear door outer window belt sealing strip. Refer toSealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Outer .
18. Install the rear door inner window belt sealing strip. Refer toSealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Inner .
19. Install the rear door inner energy absorber pad. Refer toEnergy Absorber Pad Replacement - Inner Rear .
20. Install the rear door water deflector. Refer toWater Deflector Replacement - Rear Door .
21. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door .
22. Inspect the door for proper operation and alignment.
23. Remove the masking tape.
