Locking Rod Replacement - Front Door

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door .
2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer toWater Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
3. Remove the inside handle rod (2) from the lock rod guide block.
4. Remove the front door lock. Refer toLock Replacement - Front Door .
5. Remove the inside locking rod (1) from the door lock.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the inside handle locking rod (1) to the door lock.
2. Install the front door lock. Refer toLock Replacement - Front Door .
3. Install the inside handle rod (2) to the lock rod guide block.
4. Inspect the door for proper operation.
5. Install the front door water deflector. Refer toWater Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
6. Install the front door trim panel. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door .
