Seat Back Frame Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front seat. Refer toSeat Replacement - Front Bucket .
2. Remove the seat trim panel. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Front Seat .




3. Remove the seat cushion trim and pad. Refer toSeat Cushion Cover Replacement - Front .
4. Remove the 4 seat pan bolts.
5. Remove the seat pan




6. Remove the bolts that secure the seat back frame to the adjuster.




7. Remove the seat back frame from the adjuster.
8. Remove the seat back pad. Refer toSeat Back Pad Replacement - Front .




9. If equipped, remove the lumbar clips from the seat frame. Remove the lumbar from the seat frame.



Installation Procedure





1. If equipped, position the lumbar on the seat frame. Install the lumbar clips to the seat frame.
2. Install the seat back pad. Refer toSeat Back Pad Replacement - Front .




3. Install the seat back frame to the seat adjuster.

Notice: Refer toFastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the bolts that secure the frame to the adjuster,

Tighten the bolts to 24 Nm (18 lb ft).





5. Install the seat pan bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 24 Nm (18 lb ft).





6. Install the seat cushion trim and pad. Refer toSeat Cushion Cover Replacement - Front .
7. Install the seat trim panel. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Front Seat .
8. Install the front seat. Refer toSeat Replacement - Front Bucket .
