Door Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure


Notice: Refer toPaint Damage Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Apply masking tape to the fender and door edges.
2. Open the door.
3. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door .
4. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer toWater Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
5. Remove the front door speaker. Refer toSpeaker Replacement - Front Door in Entertainment.
6. Remove the outside mirror. Refer toMirror Replacement - Power .
7. Remove the front door window belt inner sealing strip. Refer toSealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Inner .
8. Remove the front door window belt outer sealing strip. Refer toSealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Outer .
9. Remove the front door window weatherstrip. Refer toWeatherstrip Replacement - Front Door Window .
10. Remove the front door frame applique. Refer toDoor Frame Applique/Runchannel Replacement - Front .
11. Remove the window channel retainer. Refer toWindow Channel Retainer Replacement - Front Door .
12. Remove the front door window. Refer toWindow Replacement - Front Door .
13. Remove the front door window regulator. Refer toWindow Regulator Replacement - Front Door .
14. Remove the front door inside handle. Refer toDoor Handle Replacement - Front Inside .
15. Remove the lock rod guide block. Refer toHandle Lock Rod Guide Block Replacement .
16. Remove the front door outside door handle. Refer toDoor Handle Replacement - Front Outside .
17. Remove the front door lock. Refer toLock Replacement - Front Door .
18. Remove the front door body side molding. Refer toMolding Replacement - Body Side in Exterior Trim.
19. Remove the inflatable restraint side impact sensor.
20. Remove the electrical harness from the door.
21. Remove the front door rubber conduit. Refer toRubber Conduit Replacement - Front Door .
22. Remove the front door rubber conduit. Refer toRubber Conduit Replacement - Front Door .
23. Remove the front door hinge bolts. Refer toDoor Adjustment - Front .
24. Support the front door.




25. Remove the hinge bolts from the door side. Refer toDoor Adjustment - Front .
26. Remove the door with the aid of an assistant.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the door with the aid of an assistant to the vehicle.
2. Install the hinge bolts to the door side . Refer toDoor Adjustment - Front .
3. Remove the front door support.
4. Install the front door rubber conduit. Refer toRubber Conduit Replacement - Front Door .
5. Install the electrical harness to the door.
6. Install the inflatable restraint side impact sensor.
7. Install the front door body side molding. Refer toMolding Replacement - Body Side in Exterior Trim.
8. Install the front door lock. Refer toLock Replacement - Front Door .
9. Install the front door outside door handle. Refer toDoor Handle Replacement - Front Outside .
10. Install the lock rod guide block. Refer toHandle Lock Rod Guide Block Replacement .
11. Install the front door inside handle. Refer toDoor Handle Replacement - Front Inside .
12. Install the front door window regulator. Refer toWindow Regulator Replacement - Front Door .
13. Install the front door window. Refer toWindow Replacement - Front Door .
14. Install the window channel retainer. Refer toWindow Channel Retainer Replacement - Front Door .
15. Install the front door frame applique. Refer toDoor Frame Applique/Runchannel Replacement - Front .
16. Install the front door window weatherstrip. Refer toWeatherstrip Replacement - Front Door .
17. Install the front door window outer belt sealing strip. Refer toSealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Outer .
18. Install the front door window inner sealing strip. Refer toSealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Inner .
19. Install the outside mirror. Refer toMirror Replacement - Power .
20. Install the front door speaker. Refer toSpeaker Replacement - Front Door in Entertainment.
21. Install the front door water deflector. Refer toWater Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
22. Install the front door trim panel. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door .
23. Inspect the door for proper operation and alignment.
24. Remove the masking tape.
